Why I built it
Friends move. Some deploy. Some are too busy to make the local game store on a weeknight. The group stays close. The chairs at the store stay empty.
Spellforge is the table I wanted for nights like that.
Once the family is asleep, and a friend finally has an hour away from a long work day, we can sit down. When a friend overseas can make the time, we play in the timezone they are in. Same decks. Same jokes. A game that starts when everyone is free, wherever that is.
Some nights a full game is more than the hour can hold. So we play our decks our way. Custom games. Shorter matches. The kind of rules you invent when you still want to sling cardboard and the clock is already late.
I wanted every kind of card game in one place. All the options. The long games, the quick ones, and the weird ones we make up together.
