DMCA Policy

Effective Date: September 27, 2026

Spellforge LLC (“Spellforge”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements set out below.

Designated Copyright Agent

Notices of alleged copyright infringement should be sent to our designated DMCA agent at:

Spellforge LLC, Georgia, United States
Email: dmca@spellforge.app

Only DMCA-related correspondence should be sent to this contact. All other inquiries will not be processed.

Registering the agent

Safe harbor for user uploads requires the designated agent to be listed in the U.S. Copyright Office directory. A page on this site is not a substitute for that filing. The fee is $6, and the listing must be renewed every three years.

  1. Open the DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
  2. Register Spellforge LLC and name a person as the designated agent.
  3. Use a street address (a P.O. box is allowed), a phone number, and dmca@spellforge.app. Put that same address on this page via NEXT_PUBLIC_COMPANY_POSTAL_ADDRESS.
  4. Pay the $6 fee and keep the registration current.

Until that directory listing is active, Spellforge does not have DMCA safe harbor for user-uploaded material.

Filing a Notice of Infringement

To file a notice of alleged copyright infringement, your notice must include all of the following information (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works on Spellforge are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g. the specific URL on Spellforge).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and (if available) an email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Notices that fail to meet these requirements may not receive a response. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted to Spellforge was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing the following information (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Spellforge may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the affected material after 10 business days, unless we first receive notice from the complainant that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringer.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Spellforge has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Modifications

We may modify this policy at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Spellforge following any such modification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
